Woodstock Animal Foundation, Inc. helps shelters from all over the state of Kentucky, focusing efforts on rural Kentucky high-kill shelters to help ease their pet over-population. They rescue animals in need from those shelters, transport them to Woodstock Spay and Neuter Clinic to receive veterinary care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchip, and then network them once they are available for adoption.

Woodstock has many sites where the public can view their available rescues and apply to adopt them. Adoptable pets can be found on Facebook at Woodstock Spay and Neuter Clinic (for Lexington, KY rescues) and Woodstock Animal Foundation (for Louisville, KY rescues). We are also proud partners with several stores in the community, offering rescues available for adoption on site. In Lexington they hold adoption events at PetSmart in Hamburg Pavillion, as well as housing *Cats and Kittens only* at Most Valuable Pets in Beaumont Center, PetValu in both the Palomar Center & on Euclid Ave, and PetSense in Mt. Sterling. For the Louisville area, Woodstock’s adoption site is the  PetSmart on Westport Road.
