Woodstock Animal Foundation, Inc. helps shelters from all over the state of Kentucky, focusing efforts on rural Kentucky high-kill shelters to help ease their pet over-population. They rescue animals in need from those shelters, transport them to Woodstock Spay and Neuter Clinic to receive veterinary care, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchip, and then network them once they are available for adoption.
Woodstock has many sites where the public can view their available rescues and apply to adopt them. Adoptable pets can be found on Facebook and Petfinder. For the Louisville area, Woodstock’s primary adoption site is the PetSmart on Westport Road.
